Social Initiatives

We work to ensure that our suppliers, employees, and community members are treated fairly—our core focus areas for our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

Corporate Social Responsibility: At Photon, we have implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility policy that guides our conduct surrounding Ethics, Human Rights, People, Inclusion, Diversity & Collaboration, Environment, and Community.

Supporting Employees: We have established several company-wide policies that support our employees' well-being and development. These policies include but are not limited to holiday leave, health & safety, and the protection of human rights.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: We are committed to equality of opportunity in all areas of employment and business regardless of personal characteristics, including, but not limited to, gender, race, nationality, age, disability, sexual orientation, or religion.

Community Partnerships: We support numerous social and charitable causes and make contributions towards these causes regularly. Examples of past initiatives include road safety awareness campaigns, children's soccer and football programs, career guidance and motivation workshops, blood donation camps, providing outreach and education for domestic violence to community groups and schools, and many more. We strive to maintain good governance practices throughout all levels of our organization.

Policies & Procedures: At Photon, we have implemented several policies and procedures to guide our ethical business practices. These include risk management procedures, IT security policies, anti-corruption and bribery policies, and procedures to support our employees' training and professional development.

ISO Certification: We have been ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) certified since 2016. We utilize this international standard for information security to guide our best practices to ensure our data is safe and secure.

Managing ESG At All Levels: As part of our ESG endeavours, we are working to incorporate ESG into all levels of our organization. Ensuring that ESG factors are included in our decision-making process helps us proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
