Delivery Manager
Designation: Delivery Manager
Experience: 10+ years
Location: Bangalore
Role Description :
  1. Responsible for managing and maintaining engineering teams of between 20 to 40 people
  2. Responsible for mentoring and grooming project managers to handle project execution
  3. Responsible for project management of engagements and customer satisfaction on the engagements
  4. Responsible for oversight to ensure process compliance
  5. Responsible for succession planning, staffing and capacity planning
  6. Responsible for product engineering which involves analysis and design, development , testing , debugging, performance tuning of all key features.
  7. Interacting with marketing and engineering and QA directors, product architects to monitor the overall progress of the projects, Planning of various releases and service packs.
  8. Should be conversant with release engineering, build and multi-releases.
  9. Should be able to set/oversee the direction of the product/technology strategy of enterprise tier products/projects.
  10. Analysing resource requirements and recruiting team members, training and mentoring them and monitoring their performance throughout the project.
Desired Candidate Profile :
  1. 5+ years of experience with core technology. 2+ years of experience as Technical Architect.
  2. Experience building core products and understanding of Enterprise Application Servers (J2EE, .NET) - Mandatory
  3. Good understanding of Project Management, Process and other corporate initiatives - Should have managed projects and large enterprise accounts
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Demonstrable people management skills
  6. Should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science. MBA preferred.
  7. Should be open to travel to customer locations and initiate/run customer engagements
