Photon Interactive, a company that’s been focused on building mobile experiences for large brands, is teaming up with Panasonic to bring what they say will be a more personalized experience to the digital signs you see in stores.
The goal is to combine Photon’s software with Panasonic displays, so that those displays will know more about the customer. That information can be used to deliver targeted offers, as well as check in, make purchases,and more.

According to a study published by Deloitte, 80 per cent of branded apps struggle to get even 1,000 downloads. And yet, according to a different study from Distimo, 92 per cent of top global brands from Interbrand have presence on apple’s app store. Is your App ready for iOS 7?

Word on the street is that Apple is following the same 100-day launch plan they used for iOS 6, which would put the release date on Sept. 18, 2013. At WWDC, Tim Cook called iOS 7 “The biggest change to iOS since the first iPhone.”
A VentureBeat article shows 93 percent of iPhone users are on iOS 6. More recent numbers during a 14-day period ending June 3, 2013, show this even higher, at 96 percent on iOS 6. Although on day one all of these users won’t switch, the broad trend shows that Apple is deeply committed to eliminating fragmentation in the developer platform for their OS.
